PEACH STRAWBERRY LEMONADE

A COZY END OF SUMMER
While we are enjoying the last sunny days of our Dutch summer we tried a fabulous recipe from @theforkedspoon. It is a perfect recipe for an afternoon friend gathering. Obviously, we added a bit of a Yeh Tea twist which makes it even more glorious. The fresh fruits guarantee a natural sweetness and the addition of Yeh Tea Women in Love is the final exotic touch to it! Enjoy!

Here’s how to make it.⠀⠀

INGREDIENTS (x1):⠀⠀
4 ripe peaches
2 cups of strawberries
150 ml of water
50 g of sugar
Fresh lemon juice
3 blocks of ice
“Women in Love” – apple fruit tea of Yeh Tea
To garnish use a couple of fresh mint leaves and some of the fruits you chopped which you can put aside

TOOLS:⠀
Bowl and blender
Mesh strainer
Large pitcher
High glass/coup (capacity 50ml)


DIRECTIONS:⠀⠀
1. Get some fresh, ripe, and seasonal fruit. We used peaches and strawberries but you can always experiment with new matches. Make sure they are ripe, not rotten of course, but plump, and sweet.

2. Chop the fruits into large chunks and puree in a blender or food processor until they reach a smooth texture. Strain the puree through a fine-mesh strainer to separate any unprocessed bits of skin or seeds.

3. Make a nice cup of ‘Women in Love’ apple fruit tea of our Yeh Tea collection according to our brew guide or recipe on the Yeh Tea tin. Add sugar if you like.

4. Mix it all together in a large pitcher with ice while enjoying its beautiful texture and scent. Cover the mix and store it in the fridge until you are ready to serve.

5. Add some fresh mint leaves, slices of peaches and strawberries to garnish. Et voila’! Enjoy!
